By using Magic Weight you agree to these terms. They are short and written to be read.

Magic Weight is not medical advice. It is a coaching and tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or a registered dietitian. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disease, a history of an eating disorder, diabetes, or take medication that affects appetite or blood sugar, talk to a clinician before changing how you eat. If something feels medically wrong, contact a doctor — not this app.

What the app does

It records what you log, works out targets and trends from it, and a language model talks you through the result. It suggests; you decide. Targets it proposes are recommendations, and you can set whatever numbers you want.

Estimates are estimates

Nutrition figures from a photo or a description are approximations, and can be meaningfully wrong. Treat them as a guide.
Calorie burn, maintenance and projected loss are calculated from your own logged data and standard formulas. They are estimates, not measurements.
The coach is an AI. It can be wrong or misread something. Check anything that matters, and correct it in the app — every entry is editable.

Your account

Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Use the app for yourself. Do not use it to store other people's health data.
You must be 16 or older.
You can stop at any time. Email atout1@gmail.com and your account and data are deleted.

Your content

What you log stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — storing your entries and passing your messages and photos to the model that replies. See the Privacy Policy for who that involves.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. It may be unavailable, lose functionality, or change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or from relying on its estimates or suggestions.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
